I am a tapestry weaver with a tiny studio behind my home, one big loom, three medium-sized ones and a tiny, portable loom. I am a founding artist with the Off the Rails artist-run gallery located in the former Dunkeld railway station. I have a passion for wool as a fibre, but am not averse to using anything in my work - material strips, metal threads, paper, anything that can be manipulated between the warp threads and beaten into place! As the slogan goes, 'you've got to be warped to weave'. I have shown my work in various exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand and have work in private collections in both countries. I love colour and shape and quirkiness, while also having a great respect for the history and tradition of tapestry weaving.
